Review

If you are looking for a simple way to rip your audio CDs and save your favorite songs as MP3 files, I recommend you to take a glance at Arial CD Ripper - a useful program that will not only let you rip your audio CDs easily, but will also help you convert your audio files to other popular formats, after just a couple of clicks.

After you insert an audio CD in your CD-ROM, the application reads all the available tracks. If you press the CDDB button, the program will connect to the Internet to obtain the artist/track information and apply it automatically to your audio files. The default output format is MP3, but you may select some other format: WAVE, OGG, FLAC, and APE, and of course, choose the respective compression rate for each format. The application also offers a Tag Editor allowing you to edit tags of your MP3 files.

In case you have been using one of the previous versions of this program, it should be noted that the new version (1.9) is not a major update, but only fixes some minor bugs. The trial version allows you to save only four songs from a CD, or convert only first four files.
Advantages
  • It has a simple interface.
  • You can convert audio to MP3, OGG, WAVE, FLAC and APE formats.
  • You can edit MP3 tags.
Disadvantages
  • None.
